Acides

Carmen Perrin creates an aquatint etching using a combined gravure printing process. The work is conceptually based on the intaglio printing process. With the majority of the etching, "ACIDES" namely a part of the production of gravure, it plays by etching a part of the printing plate more and more, so that the colors of the lettering vary from very bright, least etched to very dark, multiple and very strongly etched parts.
