Analysis of urban biodiversity using the example of green roofs

Conference on urban biodiversity given by Ewa Renaud

A biology graduate, Ewa Renaud is a research associate at HEPIA in Geneva. After various professional activities related to land use projects, both in Switzerland and in West Africa, Ewa Renaud specialised in the greening of urban mineral surfaces and in particular green roofs. As an expert in her field, she has been passing on her knowledge and skills in this area for over ten years, not only to HEPIA Bachelor students, but also to partners outside the institution.

As part of the (re)connecting.earth exhibition, Ewa Renaud presented her work on green roofs to the audience and opened the discussion on "nature in the city" in a more general approach.
